How affiliate links are identified

Every page or post that contains compensated links should display a plain-language disclosure near the recommendation and before the first affiliate link. Our standard disclosure is: “Nook and Nest Guide may earn a commission if you purchase through links on this page, at no additional cost to you.”

We do not rely on labels such as “affiliate link” or “commissionable link” by themselves. When a retailer or affiliate program requires additional wording, that wording should also appear on the relevant page.

How recommendations are selected

Products and services are considered for their usefulness, scale, flexibility, maintenance needs, value, and fit for small-space living. Compensation does not guarantee a positive mention or placement.

Prices, availability, and product information

Prices, specifications, stock, shipping, return policies, and promotions can change after publication. Always verify important details on the seller’s website before purchasing. The seller is responsible for the transaction, fulfillment, warranty, and customer service.
